Wet and Dry Pastel

Objectives:

• Utilizing materials in unconventional ways in order to achieve desired results.
• Drawing using broad flat shapes with hard or soft edges.
• This was a class demo to show basic properties of wet and dry pastel. I was drawing the 5 shadow shapes of the face from memory. It took no more than a few minutes. I wish I would have been able to work more on the eyes and complete more of the body.
