• To push the proportions of the figure, but maintain an overall relation to one another.
  • To use line to simplify the edge of the silhouette.
  • To create dynamic graphic shapes.
  • Using the model as a jumping off point and not worrying about being so tied to what is before me. Composing and adjusting as I go along.
  • This way of seeing is out of my comfort zone, but I’ve realized that it allows me to be more confident in my mark making and to use my knowledge and skills more aptly to push creativity.
