  • To evoke a feeling of being in a particular environment.
  • To slow down and learn a new process in art making. Using materials like copper and bleach that cause unpredictable and uncontrollable results. Then, learning to accept the marks made and incorporate them into the finished piece.
  • Layering mark making and/or allowing permeability. Destroying areas and rebuilding.
  • To develop and incorporate an overall new process of picture making that is new and exciting to me.
